Mukki Safari Entry Gate
Kanha National Park is a beautiful and calm wildlife location in the Madhya Pradesh. Located in the Mandla and Balaghat districts of the central Indian state, Kanha National Park is famous for being the important conservation ground of the endangered Barasingha (swamp deer). The species is known as the ‘Jewel of Kanha’. Other than the Barasingha population, Kanha National Park is also home to the vast wildlife diversity. Before the safari begins, the park authorities verify the tourists’ safari permits and identity proofs at the entry gate.

The Mukki safari entry gate is one of the most preferred safari entry gates in Kanha National Park. Tourists choosing Kisli and Mukki core safari zones and Khapa buffer zone can enter through the Mukki Safari Entry Gate. The Mukki Gate remains open both in the morning and the evening slots. Additionally, Mukki Gate facilitates entry of the jeeps in the Kanha zone, but only in the morning slots. The Banjar River that flows across the Kanha National Park is close to the Mukki Gate. Visitors also get multiple options of accommodation near the Mukki Gate, making it a convenient option for safari goers.
