As fully equipped jungle resort, Motel Chandan has evolved with Kanha and its tourism. A small number of tourists visited the preserve during the seventies. They found succor at Chandan Motel as the resort is named. This was the first hotel accommodation venture at the Kanha National Park.

Kissu Chacha had a vision that nurtured tiger tourism & the tourists in times whence no private lodges offered lodging. (Stay was possible at the forest rest house with prior bookings). Day 1

Jabalpur to Kanha 170 Km 3 Hours approx

Arrive at Jabalpur airport/railway station then you will proceed to Kanha via surface. After reaching Kanha National Park complete check-in formalities at the resort and freshen up yourself. Have lunch and get ready for the evening jeep safari in Kanha National Park. A jeep safari in Kanha National Park is one of the most thrilling ways to explore the heart of India’s wildlife. Known as the inspiration for The Jungle Book, Kanha is home to majestic Royal Bengal Tigers, leopards, sloth bears, barasingha (swamp deer), wild dogs, and over 300 bird species. In evening come back to the resort, enjoy tea/coffee. Dinner will be served on time, overnight stay in Kanha National Park. The Safari Ride: Safaris are conducted in open 4x4 gypsies with a naturalist guide and driver. You can choose morning or evening slots. Morning safaris usually start before sunrise, offering a chance to see wildlife at its most active. Evening safaris let you witness the golden glow over meadows as the forest comes alive.
Day 2

Kanha to Jabalpur 170 Km 3 Hours approx

After breakfast, check out from resort and visit to Jabalpur sightseeings – Balancing Rock, Pisanhari Ki Madiya, Dhuandhar Fall, Bhedaghat, Chausath Yogini Temple and Panchwati Nauka Vihar. Bhedaghat & Dhuandhar Falls – The stunning marble rocks on the Narmada River and the roaring Dhuandhar waterfall are Jabalpur’s signature sights. Take a cable car ride or a boat trip. Marble Rocks Gorge – A narrow gorge where the Narmada cuts through gleaming white marble cliffs—great for photography. Balancing Rock – A natural wonder where a giant boulder perches precariously on another, defying gravity. Historical & Cultural Spots: Madan Mahal Fort – A 10th-century fort offering panoramic city views and a peek into Gond dynasty history. Rani Durgavati Museum – Exhibits sculptures, prehistoric relics, and tribal artifacts. Chausath Yogini Temple – An ancient hilltop temple dedicated to Goddess Durga, with sweeping views of the marble cliffs. Policy Regarding Cancellation/ No Show / Early Departure :

In case if you are postponing or cancelling your tour/travel due to any unavoidable reasons, you must intimate us in writing. Please make it sure that cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive your mail in writing. Following cancellation policy would be applicable:

  • 30 days prior to arrival - 10% of the tour cost.
  • 15 days to 29 days prior to arrival - 30% of the tour cost.
  • 07 days to 14 days prior to arrival - 40 % of the tour cost
  • 02 days to 06 days prior to arrival - 50% of the tour cost.
  • Less than 48 hours or no show - NO REFUND.
  • Jeep Safari & Canter Safari amount are non refundable.
  • In case of 3 persons, 1 room with 1 extra mattress will be provided.
  • Any changes in Govt. taxes, hotel charges, safari charges etc will be informed by mail or phone before traveling date.
  • Important Note: In case your safari is not booked due to reasons like technical error or non-availability of seat, we will refund the whole amount in your given bank account. The same would be communicated accordingly.
  • In case of peak season: weekends or weekdays (Holi, Diwali, X'Mas & New Year) hotel/Forest Lodges bookings separate cancellation policy is applicable (which would be advised as and when required).
  • Our Liabilities and Limitations: Please note that after you finalize the tour/service cost and in case if there are any hikes in permit fees of safaris/museums, taxes, fuel cost or guide charges decided by the Govt of India, the same would be charged as extra.
  • Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
  • In case of dispute, if any, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.
